Q1: Do your Price Reports consider the rebates and incentives offered by manufacturers from time to time?
A1: Yes, our Price Reports itemize all current factory incentive programs applicable to that particular vehicle including, special finance and lease rates, factory the consumer rebates, factory to dealer rebates and more.
Q2: Are there Holdbacks and other types of hidden rebates available to the dealer?
A2: Yes, there are holdbacks and some hidden (factory to dealer) incentives available on some vehicles that even we don’t know about. However, this is rare.
Q3: What about the rebates in my area, are they the same as in other parts of the country?
A3: Typically they are, although from time to time some manufacturers may have regional incentive programs that will differ from their national programs. In most cases will display the rebates for all areas on your report. If you suspect something is missing, please use our Live Chat or call 1-866-453-6995.
Q4: Why are there no incentives or rebates listed for the vehicle I selected?
A4: Not all vehicles have incentives or rebates at all times.
Q5: What are “Trading dollars”?
A5: Trading dollars are a form of manufacturer to dealer cash rebate. The incentive is paid to the dealer once the vehicle is reported “sold” by the dealer. Trading dollars should typically be applied to the before tax purchase price. In fact most factory-to-dealer cash incentives are typically applied before tax. Please note factory-to-consumer cash incentives should be applied after tax. Please read the “General Comments and Additional Factory Incentive Program Details” area on your report carefully for more details.
Q6: What do the terms “Stackable” and ”Non-Stackable” mean?
A6: If an incentive is categorized as “Stackable”, it can be combined with one or more other incentives. For example, a “Stackable” credit of $1000.00 can be combined with a zero percent lease incentive. On the other hand a “Non-Stackable” incentive cannot be combined with a finance or lease incentive. Please read the “General Comments and Additional Factory Incentive Program Details” area on your report carefully for more details.
Q7: Are all options listed for the vehicle I selected available together?
A7: Not necessarily, our system lists all options available on the particular model style. In fact in many cases certain options require other options in order to be selected. We recommend using our Advanced Build for models with many options in order to ensure option compatibility.

Not all Employee pricing deals are the same. Therefore, you’ll need to know how they get to their prices so you’ll know how much additional negotiating room you still have.
Can I still negotiate down from the Employee price? . . . Absolutely!
Here’s the current Ontario version of the Nissan Canada Employee Pricing Event advertisement on their website which is the same as their Ontario newspaper ad.
Is this a good deal?
How do they calculate this “Savings”?
Lets look at the 1st example, a 2011 Nissan Altima
When you go to the Nissan Canada website at www.Nissan.ca and go to the “Build Your Altima” page you get to a page which shows a “Factory Reduction” of $5,454 and a “Total Designated Selling Price” of $20,273.20 .
Is this the Employee price? Not so clear is it? Where’s the $6,332 savings shown in the ad?
The advertised model includes two options, the CVT automatic transmission at $1,300 and the $3,100 Luxury package, which includes a power moonroof, 8-way power driver’s seat, heated seats, wood-tone trim, a special edition badge and a number of other features. Although both options cost $4,400, the net cost after the employee discount is only $3,522, which is pretty decent value.
Bottom line: This deal is actually quite attractive. A lot of car for the money. The only down sides are that since Nissan Canada is discounting the car so much, they are not offering special low interest rates and the dealer doesn’t have that much room to negotiate. In fact, Nissan Canada has only left a $700 profit for the dealer at these prices. Therefore, will they still trim the price a bit? Some dealers may discount the price an extra $200 or $300 to sell another car, but with some models in tight supply, other dealers may stand firm on the price knowing that they will likely sell the car fairly quickly.
