I was able to show the dealer the CCC dealer price so he understood I knew the basic price of the vehicle and options package. I think this helped me negotiate a better price.

Not Very "Out of Town" friendly transaction. Purchased 3 hours away from home (no Audi dealer in my location). Tried to get dealer to accommodate but lack of communication between departments within the dealership made this experience a total failure.

At Glenmore Audi, It was nice just dealing with the salesperson for the complete cost of the vehicle. Rather than dealing with the salesperson for the base price plus some options, and then dealing with the finance person for additional options ( like undercoating, 3M film, extended warranty, etc). This second method (which is much more common) is really hard for the buyer because it gets very confusing as to any deals that you may be getting and it is very hard as a consumer to try to make a deal when you are essentially trying to make a deal with multiple people.

Chose this dealer because of the fact that there was no pressure applied - all questions answered, both good and bad aspects covered. We indicated at the very outset that we were members of CarCostCanada. Ian was the salesperson who first greeted us, we were happy with his approach, especially the first time when we said we were looking at different cars prior to making a decision. When we returned a few days later to make a purchase, there were no cars available in Canada that met our request. That complicated negotiating a significant reduction due to the fact that the car had to be ordered from Germany. Ian gave us a discount of $986.50 off the final price.
