I ordered my Rav4 Prime in June 2021. I was told by the salesman that delivery would be 2 to 3 months, with delivery by Nov. 2021 at the latest. As of today, Jan. 17, 2022, the dealership still has not even been able to put the order through with Toyota Canada or Toyota Japan and they have absolutely no idea if, or when I will ever get my Rav4 Prime. This is totally outrageous and completely unprofessional and unacceptable considering Toyota is still manufacturing many thousands of vehicles per month. I ordered/purchased my vehicle 8 months ago, yet have no idea if, or when, it'll get built and delivered. Yet in spite of this, Toyota Canada continues to advertise the availability and sale of 2022 Rav4s including the Prime, and Toyota continues to advertise aggressively on TV, including Rav4s. This is my first and last Toyota purchase experience and it's been my worst consumer purchase and after-sales service experience ever!

Did not mention to dealer the CarCostCanada report. I did my own calculation based on the report and offered a price to the salesman. He OK'd it at the first round. We bought 2 cars at the same time so paid less than 3% margin. It was the only dealer we dealt with that would accept our price. By the way, the dealer recommended by CarCostCanada completely ignored my inquiries. I suggest CarCostCanada find a better Toyota dealer in Toronto area.

I purchased a Toyota Highlander 4WD V6 2 weeks ago from Meadowvale Toyota---a fairly new dealer in Mississauga. I was impressed with the service the dealer provided. The Wholesale Price report helped me to negotiate in a confident manner...saving $$$ and time negotiating. Stay firm with your bottom line price and that's how I managed to pay exactly what I asked for (lower than 3% markup/profit)!
