Leasing a 2012 Ford Edge, and saving $4000 off of MSRP.
The Edge had a larger back seat. The RAV, Rogue and CR-V were a little tight in the back for 3 people. Also, the Edge LTD with the 301A Option package had some excellent safety features like BLIS.

The dealer knew I had your report. We used your figures then subtracted the employee pricing etc off of your figure.

Dealing with Chris Fotevski was extremely easy. Got the employee discount plus some more savings. Total of $1883 less than retail price. The Explorer was a base model plus the tow package. John P. Wickham work hard trying to find the car with the color and the tow package. Very happy with the whole deal. The explorer is in short supply but as it becomes more available I think it will be possible to get better deals on it.

We went to the dealer Car Cost Canada recommended. Happy with the negotiations and service. Picked up the car yesterday. However, the very next day, I received an email from Costco today extolling their new Ford Employee Pricing deal plus $1000 off. I believe I got an excellent deal but wonder if this would have saved me even MORE money. I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS!!!!

Once you have decided the exact model and all the extras you want, then go to the wholesale price report and see what numbers you get. When going into the dealership, show the Car Cost Canada report right off the bat so you both don't waste valuable time and the sales person will cut right to the chase. I got a lower number (by $200) by showing the report.

When I saw the possible savings it made my decision much easier. I printed the Carcost report and brought it to the dealership that they recommended. There was no haggling and overall it was a pleasant experience.
