Buying a 2010 Ford F-150, and saving $10000 off of MSRP.
Using CarCost Report I got a dealer price report, and negotiated with only 3% on the top of their price (same as CarCost report). This is great oportunity to save big bucks and put dealer at the corner, since they can not tell you any leamon stories about any additional cost. Since we order vehicle I gave them 3% on the CarCost price, basically for their hard paper work that they did for me, ordering my vehicle.
Buying a 2011 Lincoln MKT, and saving $10000 off of MSRP.
Got a quote from the recommended dealer which included a $250 gas tax (a tax that doesn''t exist anymore, maybe an honest mistake?) $400 fee and 12 week delivery. I got a better price with no "gas tax", no fee and 8 weeks delivery at Donnelly. Not sure the 8 weeks will hold but I would still be satisfied, I can''t comment on their service side though.
