Buying a 2012 Nissan Rogue, and saving $1500 off of MSRP.
Ericksen Nissan was the third Nissan dealership I went to during my car shopping. They offered a very low price with almost no fees. The post delivery inspection was included in the price and a Nissan Rogue comes standard with the winter accessories so I did not have to pay extra for that. The only fee they had was a $400 security etching fee. With this service they will also pay you $5000 if your vehicle is stolen, on top of whatever your insurance pays out. However, if you do not want this you can have it waived. In the end I paid 4% above dealer cost, that included the PDI and got free oil changes for life. The sales rep even bought me lunch while I was waiting for the vehicle to be detailed!
On a side note, Sherwood Park Nissan charges a $289 documentation fee (many dealerships have this fee) but the sales manager at Ericksen Nissan informed us that Nissan doesn’t allow documentation fees. Not sure how they get away with it but something to think about.
