Buying a 2013 Ford Escape, and saving $1000 off of MSRP.
It is actually very difficult to tell what my saving was as it was very difficult to establish a value for my trade in. In addition the employee pricing event was in place and so the car was already marked down considerably which was surprising as it was a 2013 and a brand new type. I did pay full price including a 495 "document and administration" cost but I had actually just dealt on the price differential between my trade and the Escape. Having the information from Car Cost was extremely helpful as it gave me a base to work from. Also I had several questions which were answered by Car Cost on the phone in help line. The woman I spoke to on the phone was courteous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All in all it was $40.00 very well spent.
The only suggestion I have is that you don't fall in love with the car. You have to be prepared to walk away and go elsewhere.
Thanks
