Leasing a 2011 Honda CR-V, and saving $500 off of MSRP.
Using the 3 - 5% mark-up the dealer price was so close to Car Cost it wasn't worth haggling over. However, having this knowledge made the whole process more pleasant and removed any feelings we might otherwise have had that we were being "taken". We declined the nitrogen tires and the window etching and weren't hassled over it as we had been at Mazda and Ford. We had previously bought a new car at this dealership and had a bad experience, but it has changed hands and the difference in customer service was night and day. Perhaps Honda is realising they have to compete to sell these days.
