We made our deal on the Friday before the Labour day weekend, after closing time. It was also month-end for the dealership. Since we couldn't get a new van built, we had to settle for a van with more options than we wanted, but the dealer made us an offer at $1220 less than dealer cost, so we took the deal. I think September is a good time to buy a car because of the fact that the new models are arriving at the dealerships. Having dealer cost information was very valuable to say the least.
