Buying a 2012 Ram 1500, and saving $10000 off of MSRP.
Local discounts were greater than reported on CarCost but gave me a base from which to start. I expected a little more in terms of some local additions to the discounts available industry wide as given by CarCost, but I had much more confidence in bargaining and feel confident I got the best price with what info I received. I got the dealers price with the addition of warranty and a few accessories PLUS upgrades. End of the month when dealers are trying to meet targets is the best time to buy!
