Buying a 2011 GMC Acadia, and saving $7000 off of MSRP.
Use Invoice price as starting point, and then negotiate Dealer profit. I suggested invoice price plus 3% minus incentives. I had a Pontiac Vibe that I bought back in 2002 and was eligible for the 1500 loyalty rebate. Sales rep came back with invoice price plus 4% minus incentives. I believe that to be a great deal. MSRP at the dealer was $50,900. I got the 2011 Acadia for $43,800. Thanks CarCostCanada!
