Buying a 2012 Kia Rio, and saving $1000 off of MSRP.
Knowing dealer invoice price kept expectations realistic which made for easier negotiation. I never told the salesperson that I had dealer invoice pricing. Salesperson gave me $1300 off list, but then charged $395 for pre-delivery expense on top of $1450 frieght for net saving of $900+.
Chose 2012 Kia Rio 5 door EX w/UVO with a 10 year comprehensive warranty ($2,000) as seemed best bang for the buck. Would have liked EX Luxury, but late availability.

Give a sample report that you can actually see how to use/read; report wholesale price and incentives + mark-up = price.

Buying a 2009 Kia Rondo, and saving $1000 off of MSRP.
The Kia dealership had never heard of Car Cost Canada but was willing to work with me. They were very good at negotiating and were respectful of me. However, once the sale was done the delivery has been less than pleasant with no return calls for a free bug guard as promised. There were many scratches, and had an overall poor clean up for the delivery. The paper work went wrong several times so you had to be a mathematician to keep all the changes straight. I bought an 8 year warranty with 200,000 km for 2,495.00$. The information provided from Car Cost Canada did not help a lot; however, I was able to save some money because of it. They promised a 0 deductable for the warranty but when looking at the paperwork, they have an ‘X’ next to the $100.00 deduction. In conclusion, the deal is done and I got a DVD player out of it because it was the only car they could find in my colour choice. (They did not acknowledge this so I am not even sure if they are aware they gave it to me.) Overall, I would give them 8 out of 10 for making the deal and 3 out of 10 for delivery (and this is generous). Time will tell if they stand behind the product. As for Car Cost Canada, I found it slightly useful. The mark up was very minor. The factory to dealer cash incentive was not explained properly. I found out after all of this was said and done, the dealer bought the car for cash and had me sign a factory to dealer $2,400.00 additional benefit. You need to work on explanation of terms. Be sure to get it all in writing, double check all of it, and make them follow through with promises. I would still recommend this dealership at this point.
