Chose your car, do some research about the vehicle and go to CarCost website build your car and stick with the wholesale of report in your negotiation. If you have a trade in be sure to get the trade in value in the black book of Canada and stick with your bottom price. My trade in was from $1,170.00 to $3,370.00 and I stick with the price of $3,000.00 and I stick with it. They gave in. so be firm stick with your price in mind and go to other dealer if you didn't get it in one dealer. Good luck.

Liked the int & ext styling of vehicle. This dealer was offering max discount. WPR was helpful because it gives you a starting point & I even used WPR of competing models that were selling at a bigger discount.

I chose to close my purchase with Leggat over John Bear based on better customer service and they were easy to negotiate with. I delt with the new car sales manager and produced 4 different variations of the wholesale price report. Each time that I suggested what I wanted they were unable to find the exact description hence I required more reports, so with the wholesale price report it allowed me to match what they found for me and I was able to keep their mark up in check 3.5% above dealer cost.
