Buying a 2012 Nissan Murano, and saving $4000 off of MSRP.
I went to a different dealer, even though I had my Car Cost report. He gave me a price, we negotiated, not knowing I had the Car Cost report. This way I had an idea if the recommended dealer was giving a fair deal. Car Cost Canada put me in touch with a recommended dealer. I had an appointment. The dealer was ready for me with a price, knowing I had a car report. He offered me a fair price including tax, that was much less than what the other dealer trying offer me. I added a few features, which were less than estimated by the first dealership. They offered us an extended warrenty, We negotiated on the price of the additional warranty. So we saved a few dollars there too. It was a satisfying experience. Not too stressful since we did not have to "shop" around from dealer to dealer comparing prices.
