Buying a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, and saving $2000 off of MSRP.
Roy Foss Chevrolet was open about the costs, factory rebates, and margin that the dealership expected to receive. The combination of model and options that I wanted wasn't immediately available so I elected to order it. There was no pressure to buy a car off the lot. Dealer extras (extended warranty, rust protection) were explained to me but there was no pressure to buy them.
I considered several makes/models and narrowed it down to three. The wholesale prices
were very valuable in comparing what I could actually expect to pay.
