Buying a 2010 Ford Escape, and saving $5000 off of MSRP.
Preferred dealer given was slow to respond and meet my needs, was like he figured since I was using CarCostCanada he didn't have to work for my business. So I took the information I got from the site elsewhere and got a great price and great vehicle within my time constraints.
Buying a 2010 Lincoln MKX, and saving $3000 off of MSRP.
Because I ran out of surveys, I made assumptions based on the Ford Edge reports. This might have been a mistake...
My vehicle choices changed a lot from the time I started looking until I actually bought. It was when a dealer notified the public of the Lincoln discounts that I directed my search to the MKX which has more options than an Edge. In the end "I think" the price worked out to be very close.
