Buying a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, and saving $5000 off of MSRP.
The Wholesale Price Report assisted me in sticking to my preferred price on the vehicle. I knew the sales representative so I felt that I could trust that I was getting a good product. The only disappointment so far is the gas mileage quoted by the sales rep has not met my expectations. I was told that after 10000 k in a vehicle you will reach your target mileage however that has not happened and I am at 12000 k. I will probably trade in come springtime.

The vehicle I purchased is completely loaded and Derek Hedley, my sales rep actually knew more about the vehicle than I did, plus took the time to review all the features of the vehicle.

Buying a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country, and saving $6000 off of MSRP.
Decide on basic car, options and colour. Visit a dealership for test drive and inquiry about on-hand inventory. Be prepared to place a factory order to get what you want. Don't discuss purchase or attempt to deal. Using CCC wholesale report develop a price offer inclusive of ALL costs. Dealer add-ons will include tire echo fees, documentation and registration fees, security etch fees, etc. These are negotiable and you are best served to build a reasonable allowance into your offer. I allowed 3% profit on cost of vehicle and visited on a cold Friday at the end of a very slow week. The sales rep and sales manager were presented with a prepared, detailed offer to purchase inclusive of all costs, holdback, bonuses and rebates. This approach failed and resulted in a terrible experience at one dealership. Winnipeg Dodge Chrysler Jeep was different. Lee Aitkenhead, the sales rep and his manager, Lindsay Stenberg were great to deal with. The purchase took 1 hour. There was no hassle. The car is a factory order. Be fair and direct and the dealership will have a sale and you will have a car.
