The sales person, Peter Eulette and Sales Manager Sean Wilson were awesome and went through all my possible options in regards to leasing vs buying and the costs of both so I was able to make a fully informed decision. The entire process was stress free and I would highly recommend this dealership and sales people if you are considering buying a Hyundai.

Michael from BC Purchased a Subaru Impreza from Saunders Subaru Suzuki. The dealership and their salesperson Lou received a rating of 10 out of 10. Our Member said:

It came down between a Mazda3 or the Impreza. I found the sales atmosphere at Saunders very relaxed and comfortable. Much less intense than at the other manufacturer dealers I visited during my research and test driving period. The 24hour test drive from Saunders was also a plus. I used the wholesale report to make an offer of 4% fair dealer profit less a factory to dealer rebate. I printed the offer up and presented it to Lou. No hassle, no fuss. The offer was accepted once the business manager arrived.

John from BC Purchased a Ford Escape from Hallmark Ford Sales Ltd.. The dealership and their salesperson Greg received a rating of 10 out of 10. Our Member said:

I purchased my new 2013 Ford Escape online. I was out of the country and did all negotiated via email. The dealership picked up my trade in appraised my vehicle and paid me a fair price and also honoured all negotiated agreements. I got a very good deal and only met Greg the salesman the day I arrived back in Canada and picked up my new vehicle.

Jill from SK Purchased a Ford Transit Connect from Capital Ford Lincoln. The dealership and their salesperson Ryan received a rating of 10 out of 10. Our Member said:

Having a wholesale price is a great time saver when negotiating with a dealership. I know it is hard (and probably impossible) but I would love to see the new monthly promotions (incentives) come up sooner.

Samuel from ON Purchased a Toyota Sienna from Burlington Toyota. The dealership and their salesperson Jamie received a rating of 10 out of 10. Our Member said:

It does make a difference, when you look at the number of times you have to go to the dealer or to a different dealer in the area, $40 saves you the trouble and you know exactly what your numbers should look like. It gives you leverage to negotiate and to get a fair price. No doubt the dealer has to make money, but it doesnt have to be just on you! Great research tool, I will use it again and again everytime I am purchasing/leasing a new car. and picked up my new vehicle.

Jeanine from Manitoba Purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe from Focus Hyundai. The dealership and their salesperson Rodney received a rating of 10 out of 10. Our Member said:

Choose the dealer for convenience, and location. While we were there, customers came up and spoke of the great service at the dealership. As the sales rep was aware of the fact that I had a Car Cost report, the haggling was basically non existent.

Jeremiah from ON Purchased a Infiniti G37 Sedan from Agincourt Infinti Nissan. The dealership and their salesperson Paul received a rating of 9 out of 10. Our Member said:

CarCostCanada put me in touch with dealerships that offered to do deals at $500 over cost without any hassels. The dealerships were willing to work with the applicable incentiveives and get me the price that I had asked for; as a result of this great experience, I also bought a Nissan Versa from them.

GM was offering 0% for 84 months and a significant discount on the MSRP. One thing I will highly recommend when negotiating is to get quotes from other dealerships via email and use those coupled with what this website offers as negotiating tools. Also, purchase from a smaller dealership as they are more willing to negotiate. Give yourself a budget and stick to it. Look at the total cost versus the monthly amount when negotiating. Get your credit score before getting into any negotiations. Do your research on this site and others like Edmunds.com. I started working with one dealer and got a few quotes but knew I could do better. I reached out to a number of other dealers across my province and used those amounts to negotiate a better deal. The sales manager definitely got a little frustrated with me but we eventually came to an agreement and I got 11k off the MSRP and the total we agreed on included ALL extras such as the admin fee, tire tax, fuel charge and all other sometimes “hidden” fees that creep up. Be somewhat flexible with the features you want. Being too narrow in your options will limit what is available especially when dealing with year-end deals. Stock levels will be lower, so trying to find that exact match may prove futile and you have less leverage to negotiate as your mind is set on options that may be too specific so when the dealer does find one they”ll play on your emotions and wants versus your actual needs so they won”t be as flexible because they know stock is limited and you have your heart set on it.

Christina from AB Purchased a Honda CR-V from T & T Honda. The dealership and their salesperson James received a rating of 7 out of 10. Our Member said:

Honestly after I gave the coupon I had from the dealer for my old car, I asked if we could negotiate price and showed the CarCostCanada wholesale price report,. He took it to his manager and they came back with a price 1400 cheaper. They took the wholesale cost and added 3.5% to give me the price. I will recommend CarCostCanada to anyone as it really shows you the actual price (cost) so you feel better when you go in for a vehicle.

Stephane from QC Purchased a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Desmeules Dodge Chrysler Jeep (1991) Inc.. The dealership and their salesperson Pierre received a rating of 6 out of 10. Our Member said:

Car cost report made negotiations very “easy”; the dealership offered his best price up front. Be careful, they were “agressive” with extras like long term warranties, rust protection, etc. because they offered such a good deal on the vehicle…Appreciated receiving quote from a Toyota dealer when I looked at the 4Runner. If you could extend to additional dealers, it would be a “win-win” for us and them.
