Buying a 2012 Nissan Murano, and saving $5000 off of MSRP.
I chose Nissan Murano due to the great on Consumer Report along with the price range. Maple Nissan is close to my residence and I wanted to start from a local business, ended up that I got the deal I wanted.
The report helped eliminate the hassles with negotiation. Better to have it printed and declare upfront to the salesman that you have the report. I realized you can actually offer even 2% profit margin and let the salesman review it. I got a couple of accessories even with the profit margin I offered.
I focused on the final cost of the vehicle though I had a trade in which I did not declare until the conclusion of the negotiation.
Overall, it was pretty straightforward and seamless working with Ali Ahmad of Maple Nissan.
