Check out enthusiast forums, in this case Toronto-subaru-club had many good things to say about the dealer that were true and helped make for a positive experience.
My impression is that use of the Car Cost Canada wholesale price reports help indicate a buyer is informed and serious about making a decision. Be reasonable and they will be too.

Have all your calculations done ahead of time. That is 3, 4, 5, 7 percent etc. above the car cost price worked out ahead of time.
Look for added administration costs.
Be sure to negotiate the incentives after you agree to a price.
