Local Dealer, they initially had a higher price, but after I came back with a lower price from another dealer, they beat it. It was good to know the profit margin from the Car Cost report. It allowed me to make a good offer. The salesman was surprised when I told him what the markup on the car was. After that there was not much negotiating left.

I have dealt with Honda products for the past 15 years. I have dealt with Kawartha Honda for the past 5 years and in my opinion they are good with customer service and very courteous.

Were offered a price, went back in with CarCost report and saved just about 1000 dollars without any effort at all ,not a bad deal for 30 dollars.

It is very important that you know the value of any trade in so that you can determine the actual savings in purchasing your new vehicle. Initially they only offered me $ 1,500 for a 2002 Chev Cavalier in rough shape. I new that the black book value was no less then $2,500. Knowing this assisted me greatly in negotiating a good deal.
