It was 3 years ago when cars are not in short supply. I was able to get the quote here and got a good deal. Originally the salesperson declined the price we offered. Once we walked out the door and within 1 hour he called back and agreed on the price.

This is a very good tool for negotiation. Bought two vehicles using this method already and both times it saved me thousands of dollars. Test drive the vehicle you want and then get the wholesale price report. Don't even bother with the retail sales person that help you with the test drive. Found that you might as well just take the report and e-mail the fleet service manager. In both cases the retail saleperson refused to accept the offer based on wholesale price reports. They keep saying "your numbers are incorrect" or "we are thousands apart". But at soon as I send the price to other dealers through the internet. They immediately forward our request to the fleet sales manager. I got multiple offers on the exact vehicle at the exact price based on whole sale price reports. And the bonus is, no games with the typical sales person. The fleet sales manager like to close these deals quickly and you are done in under an hour. Once again thank you CarCostCanada. You saved me over %5000 below retail on the Mazda CX9.
