Dealer was Mid-town Ford in Winnipeg, they gave me the best $ for my trade...smooth transaction, no pressure, took the time to build my truck, gave me all options @ wholesale..due to Car Cost Canada!!..awesome site..gave me the advantage going into the dealership!!

We purchased the Ford F150 Lariat in August of '09 during Ford Family Pricing from Midtown Ford Sales. Even though the promotional price was excellent, River City Ford was willing to go another 2% below invoice had they had a Lariat in stock. Unfortunately, they did not and Midtown wasn't willing to budge. Midtown said they never heard of Car Cost Canada before. Yeah, right. They threw in the box liner but made us pay the administation fees. No room to negotiate there, at all. At this point, we were dealing with the brother of the guy who owns the dealership. These guys drive a hard bargain, and when trucks are flying off the lot, like they were last summer, it's hard to get them to budge. River City Ford seemed more willing to move a little on the price. What confuses me is how some dealers and reps pretend that they've never heard of Car Cost Canada. With people like that, we tend to turn around and walk out. Also, Ford and Sirius Radio were running a promo where we'd get the first 6 months of Sirius for free. After 4 months, Sirius cut us off, because according to their records, we bought the vehicle in June- when, in fact, Ford registered the truck for warranty August 12th. We got ripped off there! Buyer Beware.

Make sure you know all the credit available - we missed out on Costco rebate - salesman never informed us of this one and we saw the ad after the sale was done.
