Buying a 2010 Honda CR-V, and saving $2500 off of MSRP.
Dealer is out of town, they delivered to our home, signed papers, and left with lease return.

Buying a 2010 Honda CR-V, and saving $3000 off of MSRP.
It was so much easier to make a deal when i showed them the wholesale price report, that we came to a agreement within minutes. I fully recommend Pembroke Honda a great dealer to do business with.

Buying a 2009 Honda CR-V, and saving $7000 off of MSRP.
Didn''t need to whip out the wholesale price as the dealer gave us a great deal and Honda had an awesome rebate. We stuck to our guns and got a good price that we were happy with. It''s funny that Dow Honda refused to sell us this car as it wasn''t in stock but Pembroke also didn''t have it in stock but got it for us in 3 days. Everyone in Ottawa should buy at Pembroke Honda
Buying a 2012 Honda Civic Sdn, and saving $1500 off of MSRP.
Closest dealer to where we live. Next closest dealer would be Kanata, ~100+ kms. This is the third new Honda that I have purchased in the last four years from Pembroke Honda.
I did not make the dealer aware that I had wholesale pricing information. I used the info to "know" what the dealer costs were.
Buying a 2008 Honda Odyssey, and saving $9000 off of MSRP.
I purchased Honda Odyssey 2008 at Sep. 2008. Why this model? My total savings (after tax) from the full retail price was around 8500 dollars. This is why. Big savings + good quality. Why this dealer? Pembroke Honda is the only Honda dealer around my town, no choice, but I am happy with them so far.
My friend and I purchased the same vehicle at about the same time. We seperated the checking tasks via CarCostCanada before our purchase. He checked Honda, Ford and Kia. I checked Toyota, Caravan and Mazda5. After we compared the price and vehicle performance, we chose the Honda Odyssey. The negotiation with the dealer was very smooth based on our research.

The Wholesale Price Report gave me a real advantage and I felt put me in the "driver's seat". With that information I was able to negotiate on the basis of "reasonable profit". It gave me confidence to know I was paying a fair price. And since our sales rep is someone we see from time to time in our small community, it is important to know that he was fairly compensated as well. The sales rep commented that I'd had "sure done my homework". Thanks!
