Buying a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, and saving $5000 off of MSRP.
Presenting the wholesale price report as well as a line-by-line calculation of exactly the price I was willing to pay, made for a very professional and transparent shopping experience. The dealership accepted (to the penny) my first unconditional offer with no haggling or rebuttal.
Finally a sense of "fair play" when purchasing a new vehicle!
Buying a 2009 Hyundai Elantra, and saving $500 off of MSRP.
I chose the dealer and model of car because we have bought several in the past there.
They would not budge on price until I had the CCC report. I got $600 off the asking price (leaving them with approximately $600 profit) and a few service freebies and the car they had in stock had some extras on it (mud flaps, spoiler, nose guard) and they gave me that one for the base price. What pissed me off was a $300 glass etching fee which I could not negotiate away.
