The vehicle was perfect for what we needed. Neil was accommodating with the pricing, and because the X3 is currently a hot selling vehicle, he gave me the best discount he could, which was the recommended % that car cost had suggested.

Both my parents had recently bought from a different dealer, who I went and talked to first after getting my report. I didn't mention the report at the time, just to see what kind of deal I get from that basis alone, was dealing with same people. They came back very high and undervalued my trade in, as fortune would have it that night I was e-mailed from Rocky, I set up an appointment and went in. He introduced himself then introduced me to Peter, Peter is a salesman there and Rocky is the general manager at the BMW store. They looked over my trade in, we talked about what I wanted, he looked at the car cost report, came back with their first offer which was under the recommended start point I was told at the other dealer. Also, trade in was where I thought it would have been at a fair price for both sides, and 4K above what I was offered elsewhere. I asked if they could trim another 365 off the price and also include the added fee''s, such as paperwork, ac, all that on their end, Peter went to check and they BOTH came out to shake my hand, which led me to believe I just bought my first BMW. (and I had) I had a very sour feeling after going to that first dealership, but going to the one that had my info from using this site it was relaxed, easy and I got a great price just from following the procedures they list. (Dealer invoice, add 3-6%, minus rebates) and there was really no haggling. I don't expect to get a car for free, everyone needs to get a good deal on it, but I don''t expect to be dragged over the coals as it was, or waters tested to see if I can be taken advantage of. I will say this, there was only 1 manufacturer rebate offered, and that came last minute, so until then I didn't know if this site would have been worth it, and originally I wasn't crazy about my personal contact info being passed along to a dealer, but was totally worth it. Off the MSRP I saved a great amount, then they still took off more after that when talking in person, it was really a great car buying experience in my opinion.

I have company discount from the dealership, so I don't have to negotiate the price. However I immediately knew that their offer was a good one or not when I got the dealer invoice price from Car Cost Canada.

Shop around for a better quote. Even though you may have the wholesale price, dealer will always play the sales game.

I had a leased 2007 BMW X5 - I waited and ordered a 2011 BMW X5 Diesel from my Dealer using the wholesale price. I was able to negotiate a 5.18% discount from MSRP and leaving a decent profit margin for the dealer
