CarCostCanada's January 2018 Top 10 Vehicles Sold Report

While sales of passenger cars dropped almost 3% during January 2018, an increase of over 9% in light truck sales resulted in another sales record. Total sales were almost 6% higher than January 2017. Several models saw significant year over year increases including Jeep Wrangler, Honda CR-V and the Honda Civic. In terms of manufacturers, the winners included General Motors, Honda Motor Company and Volkswagen Group. It will be interesting to see if Canadians continue to purchase new vehicles at this record breaking pace.
