I brought the CarCostCanada report with me during negotiations. The report indicated I should offer 3-5% above wholesale, so I asked for 2000.00 off of retail, which was 4.7% above wholesale. Dealer initially refused and indicated that loyalty customers only get $1000 off, but when I indicated I would leave and think about it, he agreed to my offer.
