Transaction was seamless and transparent.

In spite of the dealer cost quoted by Car Cost Canada, no dealer that we talked to was interested in negotiating down to anything near that plus percent. The best we could accomplish below MSRP was some dealer and factory incentives, plus accessories at either no cost or a good reduction in price. In the current economy it is not a good time to buy either a new or used car and had we have not needed one we would likely have not purchased one at this time. In this case Car Cost Canada only really told me how much money we were putting in the dealer's pocket given none of them were willing to budge on sale price.

Great dealer and great negotiation. I was able to use the information provided by CarCostCanada to negotiate a fair deal, I didn't want to take them to the cleaners.

I always start negotiations with "dealer invoice plus what"? In a number of cases, it turns out, with factory incentives, to be "invoice minus what". The listing of incentives in the report is vital...read them carefully and get all that apply to you.
