Alanna was a pleasure to deal with and took the time to explain the features of the vehicle and allowed us ample time on our test drive. Never once did we feel rushed or pressured with her. We would love to buy another vehicle from her in the future.

The whole experience was all around great! The salesperson, Nikki, was great, the sales manager, Oliver, was great and so was Jared from finance and Ron Roberts, "Delivery Specialist". Couldn't complain about a thing if I tried. They called me the day after inquiring on CarCostCanada and never once tried to haggle or add anything to the price. I must have saved thousands(I'm not a very good negotiator, otherwise). I've already been recommending this site and dealership to friends who've asked about my new car. 10/10

Nissan, Mazda dealers reached out as soon as I downloaded reports, looking to help. My daughter really wanted the Jetta. Having the price they paid and preferring the Hyundai, really allowed me to bargain hard. The report was immensly helpful in
bargaining>

Definitely get the Invoice Pricing information as this will show you where to start from. The problem with many dealer (except Toyota) is that gratuitous and egregious 'extras' are tacked onto the 'offer to purchase' - these include:
"Dealer Prep" - this is after after the mandatory 'Freight & PDI' item - you are essentially paying the dealer twice to prepare your vehicle
"Vehicle window etching and security" - an expensive way to lower your insurance deductible
"Document Fee" - this is most egregious and can be hundreds of dollars for someone to fill in a form - which should be covered by the 'PDI' fee.
All in all about $850 of profit was added by these items before negotiations start so the hard work is to remove as much of this 'fluff' as possible and get the car for a reasonable mark up over invoice.
After the deal is done then there is the opportunity for more padding in the business office. I would recommend the plastic film paint protection (3M or Avery) however the dealer also inflates this so it is a good idea to get some external quotes first - my dealer matched those quotes and I saved another $200.
Firmly but pleasantly refuse all other dealer packs - paint/upholstery protection, rust protection, extended warranties etc - they are hugely inflated and worthless according to Consumer Reports.
I took a laptop with the numbers already on a spreadsheet - this helps keep you focused as things can get confusing during the negotiations.
I took other advice like buy at the end of the month, and go to the dealership in the evening.
All in all I am looking for a deal where we all walk away happy but no one gets ripped off. Overall I am very happy with the buying experience and the Product Adviser, Oliver was exceptionally profesional. I will be recommending him to my friends

Great service. They know their cars inside and out. I was up front about running a report and they were willing to make a deal.
