Buying a 2011 Toyota RAV4, and saving $1500 off of MSRP.
Drove the RAV4 (4 cylinder) and Honda CRV. Was going to drive the Hyundai Tucson too but dealer had none in stock. Toyota drove a little nicer and engine didn't work as hard; was also a bit quiter. Preferred the interior styling of the CRV but the handling, ride and exterior styling of the RAV4. The dealer incentives were better at Honda and may have spent a bit less on the CRV but the RAV4 was my preference and was able to negotiate a reasonable deal. Knowing the dealer wholesale price helped me in negotiating a good price. I ended up paying 5% above dealer wholesale price and also got the all weather floor mats included (~ $120 accessory - what my cost would have been, price plus taxes).
