It was pleasant and painless. They went to great lengths to find the car that I wanted and bring it to the dealership. They also made sure that I was not 'signed up' for perpetual money grabs (e.g., Satellite radio et al). Of the 5 cars I have bought from a dealer in my lifetime, this one was the best. When they asked where I got my information on the trade-in and purchase vehicle pricing as I was negotiating, I told them that I had used CarCost Canada. They just nodded.

When I mentioned the Car Cost Canada report, the dealer was willing to accept 3% over invoice without any hesitation, and waived the "etching" fee. It was so easy that I felt maybe I was still paying too much and should have asked for a greater reduction.
